2014 Snoman Congress
Snoman Annual General Meeting
On October 24th & 25th, Snoman held its 4th Annual Snoman Congress. The Annual General Meeting took place on the Friday and a meet-and-greet followed after for all in attendance to get to know one another.
Saturday had many workshops for Club Members to choose from: Generational Leadership - Bridging the Gap, Trail Grooming, Trail Signing, and Club Governance.
On the morning of the 25th, the Province of Manitoba and Snoman Inc. proudly unveiled a new specialty license plate that celebrates the organization’s dedication to safe and environmentally responsible snowmobile trails while also supporting Variety, the Children’s Charity. $30 from the sale of each set of plates goes directly to Variety and enables children to participate more fully in life’s activities.
At the Awards Banquet on the Saturday evening, the following awards were given out for the 2013-2014 Excellence Awards:

Snoman Inc. was pleased to announce the winners of the Canadian Council of Snowmobilers Organization Excellence Awards. These annual awards recognize volunteers in several areas including snowmobile family, youth, tourism, promotion, and environment.

The following five Clubs also were recognized for having the highest scores for the Club Recognition Program: South East Sno-Riders Inc., Victoria Beach Snow Drifters, Interlake Snow Trackers, Kelsey Trail Sno Riders, and the Dauphin & District Snowmobile Club.
Big Daddy Tazz and Executive Director Yvonne Rideout
The entertainment for the night was Big Daddy Tazz and included introducing and auctioning off the newly released limited edition copies of the Snoman children’s story book “A Day on the Trails – Brrrt Shivers Learns Safe Sledding”. Often described as “one of the most talented comics in the business”, Big Daddy Tazz has been delighting crowds at fundraisers, corporate events, festivals and on television for more than a decade and a half.
